Company Provided Life Insurance
DMS provides group life insurance coverage for full-time employees. The life benefit amount and accidental, death and dismemberment (AD&D) amounts are 1 times your annual earnings rounded to the next higher $1,000 to a maximum benefit of $100,000. The life insurance amount is reduced to 65 percent of original amounts at age 70 and 50 percent of original amount at age 75. Supplemental Life Insurance
DMS employees are able to purchase additional life insurance and accidental, death and dismemberment (AD&D). Amounts are up to 5 times your annual earnings rounded to the next higher $1,000 to a maximum benefit of $500,000. The life insurance amount is reduced to 65 percent of original amounts at age 70 and 50 percent of original amount at age 75. If you retire, leave DMS, or reduce your hours so you are no longer eligible.
Short Term Disability
DMS provides group short-term disability coverage for full-time employees. The STD coverage provides 60% of your income on a weekly basis if you are disabled for a short period of time because of an injury or sickness. If an illness or injury limits you from performing the material and substantial duties of your regular occupation, with a resulting income loss of 20% or more in weekly earnings, you will be considered disabled and benefits will be paid. Total disability is not required through the elimination period.
Long Term Disability
DMS provides group long-term disability coverage for full-time employees. The LTD coverage provides 60% of your income on a monthly basis in the event you are unable to work due to a disability caused by an accident or sickness. The employee needs to complete a waiting period of 90 days of continuous service.
A Military Leave of Absence will be granted to regular full-time employees for the period required to fulfill military training, reserve obligations, or, if you are called to active duty with the United States Uniformed Services, including the Armed Forces, as provided by law.
Paid Time Off
DMS offers a number of days of paid time off to be used for vacation, sick leave or other personal reasons. We also provide paid holidays as well as floating holidays annually.
